How to create translated reports (say no to automated translations :-))
Step 1: open the web-based client reports
Creating reports in your own language is easy. Open the web-based client reports in your web browser. You can get the link to the client reports here:
SEOprofiler > Your project > Web-based reports
Depending on the preferred language of your web browser, you will see an automatically translated version of that page. Don’t worry about the automated translation. You can improve the translation with your own words.
If you do not see an automatic translation of the page, you can select another language in the pop-up menu at the bottom of the client report page.
Step 2: optimize the translation (you have to do this only once)
If you don’t like the suggested translation, you can optimize it. It’s very easy:
- Hover your mouse cursor over the translation you’d like to correct. The phrase or sentence will be highlighted and a tooltip window displaying the original text will appear.
- If you’re not logged in with your Google Account, click Sign in.
- Click on Contribute a better translation and submit the corrected translation.
That’s all there is to it. The improved translation will be used for all further reports.
Benefit from custom translations
The web-based client reports use an individual translation glossary that is only used for the client reports. The more improved translations you suggest, the better will be the reports in your language.
