Gary Illyes said in a statement on Twitter that your website won’t get snippets (or rankings at all) if the HTML code of your web pages should contain more than a cookie/login interstitial. Some websites only display content when the user has confirmed to accept all cookies.
Pro tip: if you actually want to have a snippet in search results, you do have to have *something* other than the cookie/login interstitial on the page.
